This little Air application will let you drag and drop an FLV file and it will parse the file in binary and show you the contents of the FLV tags for analysis. This is a pretty old application I did when I was working at Di-f, but I figured I should revise it since I’ve using it a lot lately. So, I did some changes and packaged this as an air application for distribution.

Just a couple of notes:

  • This only works with standard FLV formats, I haven’t tested this with F4V, but my guess is that the format is different. I will update the app when I get a chance.
  • You need to DRAG and DROP an FLV file from your desktop in order for it to work
  • The longer the FLV, the slower it may get. Keep that in mind
